STAT Parenting was born from a simple but powerful idea: to celebrate the love, resilience, and everyday joy that comes from raising children while working in healthcare. Whether you’re a physician, nurse, pharmacist, or any kind of healthcare professional, you know the balancing act it takes to show up for your patients and your family, often at the same time but in different ways.

Parenting in medicine comes with unique challenges: unpredictable hours, the pressure to meet the highest professional standards, missed milestones, emotional fatigue, and the ever-present tug-of-war between duty at work and presence at home. It’s not always easy to hold space for others all day and then come home to give your best self to your child. But it’s also deeply meaningful, and you’re not alone in trying to make it work.
